2016, the opening year of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan", saw the China Electronic Components Industry Association, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Operation Monitoring and Coordination Bureau, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Electronic Information Department jointly hold the "Seventh Fourth Session of the Standing Committee of the China Electronic Components Industry Association" and the "2016 China Electronic Components Industry Summit (CECIS 2016)" in Qingdao on July 14 to strengthen communication and cooperation among key backbone enterprises in the electronic components industry, plan the development of China's electronic components industry during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan", and promote structural adjustment, steady growth, innovation, and efficiency improvement in the electronic components industry.

The meeting released the 2016 (29th) list of China's Top 100 Electronic Component Enterprises. 100 Chinese backbone electronic component enterprises with outstanding performance in scale, financial status, and R&D capabilities were selected as the new Top 100 electronic component enterprises, becoming the first group of leading enterprises in the electronic component industry during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan". Against the backdrop of sluggish international economic growth, slowing economic growth in China, and the general shift of the entire industry to medium-low speed growth, the new group of China's Top 100 Electronic Component Enterprises set an example for the entire industry with their outstanding performance.

In 2015, with sluggish international markets and slowing domestic economic growth, the growth rate of the entire electronic components industry declined significantly. The fact that the Top 100 electronic components enterprises achieved double-digit growth in both main business income and total profits is remarkable.

As a micro-motor manufacturing enterprise participating in the Top 100 Electronic Components ranking for the first time, Shenzhen Zhengde Intelligent Control Co., Ltd. increased its main business income from 45 million yuan in 2014 to 148 million yuan in 2015, representing a year-on-year growth rate of 227%. This made it the fastest-growing enterprise in terms of main business income among the Top 100 Electronic Components enterprises and also placed it second in the Top 10 Growth Enterprises.

Zhengde also effectively used capital means to expand and strengthen the development and research of front-end electromechanical control industries and, through the successful absorption and digestion of the acquisition of Fuji micromotor business, provided strong support to the extension end of micromotor products. At the beginning of the year, Zhengde's application for a municipal science and technology commission's technological innovation project was unanimously praised by the municipal expert group and received 4 million yuan in non-reimbursable funding.
